Due to funding issues, this year’s The Magic Loungeabout Festival has been cancelled.
After a major investor dropped out of funding the festival, organisers have had no alternative but to cancel the annual event.
Festival organiser, Simon Adamson has said: “We hope that you continue to support us for next year by way of asking your friends to receive email updates from us and joining our Facebook page. We truly believe that Yorkshire still needs a quality alternative music and arts event that appeals to all you like minded souls, so do spread the word that The Magic Loungeabout is now looking ahead to 2011. We’ll be in touch when we have everything in place. Thank you for all your support so far, you are a lovely and friendly bunch.”
Organisers have promised that all ticket holders will receive a full refund and be entitled to a 25% discount on tickets for 2011.
